New Jersey's Most Thorough Deep Cleaning Service
Spring cleaning, move prep, post-party reset, or first-time professional cleaning — Clean Bee leaves no surface untouched in your NJ home.
When a Regular Cleaning Just Isn't Enough
Some situations call for more than a routine surface wipe-down. Clean Bee's deep cleaning service in New Jersey is designed for homes that need a true reset — whether you're preparing for a major event, coming out of a renovation, or simply booking a professional cleaner for the first time. Our deep cleaning process attacks the grime, buildup, and hidden dirt that accumulates in places most cleaning services ignore: inside the oven, behind the refrigerator, along grout lines, inside window tracks, under furniture, and on ceiling fans that haven't been touched in months. Founder Cristine DosSantos developed our deep cleaning checklist drawing on 13 years of personal experience in the cleaning industry, ensuring that every item matters and nothing is overlooked. After a Clean Bee deep clean, your home will feel like new.
Deep Clean vs. Regular Clean: What's the Difference?
A regular clean keeps a home that's already in good shape looking that way. A deep clean goes after the buildup a regular visit doesn't reach — behind, under, inside and on top of things. Every new client's first visit with us is a deep clean, because every home has corners that haven't been touched in a long time.
| Area | Regular Clean | Deep Clean |
|---|---|---|
| Kitchen counters & sink | Wiped and sanitized | Plus backsplash, grout lines and faucet base scrubbed |
| Stove & oven | Stovetop wiped | Stove pulled out; sides, floor and wall behind it degreased; inside oven and racks scrubbed |
| Refrigerator | Outside wiped | Pulled out and cleaned behind; shelves and drawers removed and washed |
| Cabinets | Fronts wiped | Fronts degreased, tops of cabinets cleaned, interiors wiped |
| Vents | Dusted from outside | Covers removed and washed; opening vacuumed as far as we can reach |
| Baseboards & door frames | Spot-dusted | Every baseboard, door frame and door top wiped by hand |
| Bathrooms | Surfaces cleaned | Plus grout, shower head descaling, toilet base and behind, exhaust fan cover |
| Floors | Vacuumed and mopped | Plus under beds and couches, edges and corners by hand |
| Windows | Sills wiped | Tracks vacuumed and scrubbed, blinds dusted slat by slat |
Which one do you need?
Book a deep clean if:
- It's your first professional cleaning, or your first with us
- It's been three months or more since a thorough clean
- You're moving in or out, or getting ready for holidays or guests
- You've just finished a renovation or a busy season at home
Book a regular clean if:
Your home was deep cleaned recently and you want to keep it that way. Every recurring client starts with one deep clean, then moves to weekly or bi-weekly visits.

Why Deep Cleaning Is My Favorite
"Deep cleaning is my favorite kind of work, and I'll be honest about why: it's the places nobody looks. I love taking the vent covers off and washing them, sliding the stove out and seeing the line of grease running down the side where it meets the counter, pulling the refrigerator away from the wall. These are spots most people never see, so they never get cleaned — and they're always dirtier than anyone expects. Dust packs into the vent covers, crumbs and spills collect in the gap beside the stove, and a gray layer of dust settles on the refrigerator coils. Homeowners are usually surprised. I like that moment, because it means the home is clean in the places it actually counts, not just the places you can see."

The Places Nobody Looks (Until We Do)

These are the spots we clean on every deep clean, and the buildup we usually find there.
Kitchen
- Beside and behind the stove — grease drips and crumbs fall into the gap and stay there for years
- Behind and under the refrigerator — dust, lost magnets and old spills; we vacuum the coils too
- Range hood and filter — the filter collects cooking grease; we degrease it
- Inside the oven, racks and microwave
- Dishwasher filter and door seal — food and grime build up where you don't see
- Tops of cabinets — dust sticks to the thin layer of grease that forms there
Bathrooms
- Exhaust fan cover — often furred with dust; we take it down and wash it
- Shower head — descaled so the water flows evenly again
- Grout lines, and the base of and behind the toilet
- Under the sink cabinet
Throughout the home
- Vent covers and return grilles — removed, washed and the openings vacuumed
- Ceiling fan blades and light fixtures
- Baseboards, door frames, the tops of doors, light switches and handles
- Window tracks, sills and blinds
- Under beds and couches, and behind the TV and electronics

Laundry area
- Washer door seal and detergent drawer
- Behind and beside the washer and dryer

What a Deep Clean Doesn't Include
So you know exactly what to expect:
- NOT INCLUDEDCleaning inside the duct system itself — that needs a duct-cleaning specialist. We clean the covers and as far into the opening as we can reach.
- NOT INCLUDEDDisconnecting gas or water lines. We slide appliances out carefully without disconnecting anything.
- NOT INCLUDEDOutside windows, carpet shampooing and mold removal.
How Often Should You Deep Clean?
We recommend a deep clean every 3 to 6 months — even if you already have regular cleaning. Regular visits keep surfaces clean; they don't move the sofa, pull out the stove or take the vent covers off. Homes with pets, young kids or a lot of foot traffic do best closer to every 3 months. Kitchens and bathrooms build up fastest.
Why it matters: during a deep clean in a home we clean every two weeks, we flipped the sofa and found spider egg sacs underneath. Nothing looked wrong from the outside. That's exactly what a deep clean is for.
